During this camp, you’ll get the RockBand experience in one fast-paced and fun week! We’ll place students together in a band, where you’ll pick your favorite covers and learn the ins and outs of what it takes to play together in a real band. Learn musicianship, stage presence and how to “gel” in an ensemble. The camp will end with an in-studio performance for family and friends on the Friday of camp.

We recommend that students have at least 6 months of lessons before enrolling in this camp, with the exception of vocalists, who do not need formal training.

The camp will end with an in-studio performance for family and friends on the Friday of camp. Perfect for piano, drum, bass, guitar and saxophone players who want to take their chops to the next level!

We recommend that students have at least 1 year of lessons before enrolling in this camp, with the exception of vocalists.

Recording Camp
Instructor: Ian Duthie

Have you always wanted to record in a real studio? Or maybe you’ve had some experience but you want more? Learn how songs are transformed from real-time performances into great records as you spend the week recording a song of your choice in Sky Studios’ state-of-the-art, on-site studio!

Recording Camp students will choose a song, learn how to play the song as a group, and spend the remainder of the camp recording the song together in the studio. As students track, mix and overdub their song, they will learn tried and true recording techniques while also experiencing how the studio world differs from a live performance setting. At the end of the week, the campers will have a final mixed and mastered masterpiece to play for family and friends.

We recommend that students have at least 6 months of lessons before enrolling in this camp, with the exception of vocalists.
